Abstract
Foliage color in Pisum is not merely a question of green and yellow foliage, as the yellow-foliage varieties we have are of three distinct genetic types, and still others have been described. The relation of each of our three different types of yellow foliage color to green foliage and to each other in inheritance, the inheritance of green and yellow pod color, and the relation between pod color and foliage color in certain varieties of field and garden peas, Pisum arvense L. or P. sativum L., are considered in this paper. A preliminary report on this study has been published (White and Neff, I926). The relation of cotyledon factors to these foliage and pod colors will be presented and discussed in a succeeding paper.
