Abstract

We have demonstrated an inherent instability of unconventional anlsotropic superconductivity (SC) states toward the spin density wave (SDW) formation on the reason why these SC states are stabilized. Within a mean field approximation for a two dimensional tight binding model including the on-slte repulsion and attractive interaction, we examine the competition between the SDW and various types of the d- and p-pairing states. The second transition observed in (U1-xThx)Be13 is interpreted to be due to the SDW transition out of an unconventional SC pairing state.
