Abstract

The infra-red radiative corrections to be applied to electron colliding beam experiments are given a nonperturbative treatment, which extends the method of ref. (2) to processes which take place through an intermediate resonant state,i.e. for which the high and low energy aspects can no longer be assumed to be separable. The resulting correction factor is compared with lowest order perturbation theory. The approximations to be applied for such cases as ω, ϕ or ρ as an intermediate state are discussed.
