Abstract

The main goal of this research is to determine the actual state of influence of family and school education in providing the necessary information for addiction diseases. The survey was conducted on a sample of 114 secondary school teachers and 127 parents. The sample consisted of a total of 241 examined by both sexes. Since this is a current problem that does not concern only one or more countries, the problem has been raised internationally, which means that the significance of the research problem is fully justified. In embryonic studies analyzed in the function of this research, depending on the objectives and tasks of this research, different research methods and techniques were applied. Starting from the subject of research, we used the method of theoretical analysis, empirical-non-experimental method, descriptive, analytical-synthetic and induction and deduction method. The results of the research have shown that teachers and parents are not sufficiently informed about the harmfulness of abuse of narcotic drugs and drugs, the significance of the preventive action of the family and the school in order to combat illicit drugs and drugs, are insufficiently informed about the identification of risky behavior as well as about the causes of abuse of narcotic drugs and drugs. In order to reduce this problem, it is necessary to organize seminars and lectures for teachers and parents, as statistics show that teachers and parents do not know almost anything about drugs. It is therefore necessary to change this situation and create such conditions in which teachers and parents will be equal partners and actively participate in acquiring the necessary knowledge in order to improve the level of information in this field.
