Abstract

The structured radiology report is the main means through which radiologists communicate with clinicians. The implementation of structured reports for the most common abdominal tumors in children (neuroblastoma and nephroblastoma) has been made easier by international pediatric oncology societies’ development of protocols that promote the use of standardized terms, establish consensuses about the imaging techniques and findings, and facilitate data storage to enable their centralized review. We present the structured reports for the two most common abdominal tumors in children: neuroblastoma and nephroblastoma.
