Abstract

The problem statement. In Ukraine, libraries are not popular among the population as a place for leisure. The low popularity of libraries is the reason for global access to the Internet. The Internet, which is the reason for this, can help solve the problem of the low popularity of libraries in Ukraine. Examples of successful use of social networks in the process of promoting libraries are the libraries of New York, London or Paris.
 The purpose of the study is to develop a set of measures to promote the library.
 The methodology. To achieve the desired results, the scientific literature was analyzed. The strategy of work in social networks was defined. The best editors for working with publications have been identified. Social networks were analyzed to select the most popular among the target audience.
 The results. The result of the experiment is the design of a page on social networks, improving the image of the library and sharing information about its activities. The best editors for photo and video editing have been identified. We identified which documents are important in the activities of the library.
 The scientific novelty. The scientific article contains an example of how to promote the library in modern conditions. This method is not popular in Ukraine. But this article will help to find an approach to fix this problem. The article contains all the general information that a modern library may need in the process of promoting the institution.
 The practical significance. The described methodology of popularization of library activity can be used by any library. With the described procedure of library promotion, other institutions will be able to understand the importance of using modern technologies in the creation and promotion of their content and activities. Ukrainian libraries that will use the described methods will be able to promote themselves among young people and other residents of the village or city. The growing popularity of the library will provide an opportunity to organize thematic events and invite writers to present their books.
