Abstract

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the role of information support of land managementand the improvement of the theoretical and methodological foundations of information support of landmanagement in agriculture. The feasibility of introducing information support for land management isdetermined by scientific and technical progress in the field of geodesy and cartography, the developmentof geo-information technologies, as well as the need to improve the efficiency of land management causedby the transformation of agricultural land use, land redistribution and activation of the land market. Itis determined that the process of information support of land management allows you to create a comprehensiveview of the organization of the territory, improvement of agricultural land and crop rotationand make informed decisions in the process of land management design. A structural-logical model of asystem for information management of land management in agriculture has been proposed, which impliesthe functioning of three main interrelated subsystems: information-analytical, automation of land managementdesign, organization of land management works. The main task of the information-analyticalsubsystem of information management of land management in agriculture is the organization of datastorage, ensuring the procedures for editing and restoring them, and servicing requests for informationretrieval entering the system. The subsystem of automation of land management design includes elementsthat provide data processing, information transformation, mathematical modeling and analysis. The maintask of the latter subsystem is to conduct land management work on the basis of generating and formattingthe results of the system in the form of maps, graphic images, tables, texts and other information. Ingeneral, the information support of land management in agriculture is one of the ways to innovativelyimprove the process of managing agricultural production.
