As the societal system evolved, it was named "modern society," "technology society," and eventually "information society" in order to maintain quality of living, stability, and tolerance to this rapid transition. The information society can be described as a society that carries out all activities related to the transmission, storage, and dissemination of information by investing in computer-communication technology. With this definition, it is now necessary to explore the effect of knowledge on culture and social life in greater depth, as well as the countries' adaptation to this society. In Turkey, there are a few of dissertations on this subject. Our aim is to examine master and doctoral dissertations on the information society to determine which aspects of social existence are the most strongly linked. We searched dissertations that were published in the YOK (Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu) platform between 2010 and 2020.
