Abstract

The Russian-Ukrainian war has caused massive stress among the population of Ukraine. active work in the information space of Ukraine can be one of the ways to reduce such stressful effects, aimed at explaining the level of danger, reducing the emotional burden on the consciousness of citizens in the war time. In particular, libraries and other information centers should be actively involved in this work. Information resources, primarily electronic, contributing to boosting the application of useful information of subconscious significance, and having the potential for development in the future became significant in the current russian-ukrainian confrontation. With the proper transformation of these materials into thematic information items, such a resource should be effectively used to ensure the psychological stability of society during periods of serious trials, and neutralize negative effects of stressful situations. Stress factors create significant problems for society in the terms of military confrontation, prolonged information war between our country and the russian rederation. And it is library funds and their information potential can actively provide anti-stress assistance to citizens in the modern hybrid war. Librarians, who are on the front-line fighting against information aggression, should effectively cooperate and communicate with librarians working in scientific, sectoral and large regional archives. Library funds, including printed, should be deeply studied, and those that best meet the needs to unite modern society and the fight against stress should be selected. Accordingly, information and analytical bulletins with the content of available funds and topics that help neutralize stressful moods in society should be prepared. Such data will constitute the information potential of strategic communications of the national information space. National information centers, in cooperation with scientific and other centers, containing publicly significant information, should create conditions for convenient use of national information space that meets current needs of society: strengthening national unity, using the national information resource in combating stresses caused by war.
