Abstract
A simple closed-form expression of the in-plane b-c angular correlation for a sequential process of the type A(a, b)B(c)C is given. In particular, it is outlined how the amplitudes for a reaction A(a, b)B can be obtained. As an example, the application to the in-plane α′-t angular correlation for the sequential process7Li(α, α′)7Li(t)4He at 27.2 MeV is quoted.
