Abstract

Simple noise free transmission of digital data (e.g., images, audio, and video) via the internet enables pirates to reach a huge market, while prosecution is difficult. Digital watermarking is considered as the imperceptible, robust, secure communication of information by embedding the data and retrieving it from other digital data. This paper discuss on hiding the text messages in wave files in frequency domain format using an fast fourier transmission (FFT) technique which could resists tampering and attaches made to it and retains the hidden text without any distortions.
