Abstract

One of the most important tasks of managing the oil production is providing a noiseproof way of obtaining information about producing reservoirs. This paper studies problems concerning construction of generating polynomials for convolution codes over a Galois field. Two theorems on convolution codes have been formulated and proven. Code distance of the studied convolution code over the field GF(2) at a speed of R=1/m has been evaluated. The results of this research serve as a foundation for studies of correction capabilities of a computing system during a digital signal processing in an autonomous downhole telemetry system.
