Infographics as a Tool to Facilitate English Learning Activities: Student’s Perceptions
The research focuses on the impact of infographics as a tool for English learning trough student’s perceptions. The purpose of this research is to identify the positive impact of using infographics for students' learning and teaching activities in the classroom and also the appropriate learning media by educators. The researchers used qualitative research methods in analyzing the data that was collected. The instrument of the research was a questionnaire that consists of questions and statements that must be filled in by the elected respondents. The questionnaire was targeted to students of Universitas Tidar, especially the student of the English Education Department study program in the second and fourth semesters. There were many as 41 participants as a sample in this study. The results of this study show that based on the students' experience of knowing and using infographics in the learning activity, most of them agree that the use of infographics as learning media has a very positive impact. Infographics are also the suitable medium to improve students' quality in understanding the material and their interest in learning.

This study aims to increase students’ interest in learning English by using picture card media through Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The subjects of the study were students of class X IPS MA Al-Djufri Pamekasan who experienced low interest in learning English. This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collected through observation and questionnaires were analyzed to determine the development of students’ interest in learning. The results showed that the use of picture cards could significantly increase students’ interest in learning. In cycle I, the level of students’ interest in learning was recorded at 60%, which indicated a lack of active involvement and motivation in learning English. After the implementation of picture cards in cycle II, students’ interest in learning increased to 83%. This increase can be seen from the increased participation of students in teaching and learning activities, enthusiasm in discussions, and better ability to understand the material. The application of picture cards proved to be effective in attracting students’ attention and facilitating the understanding of English materials, especially vocabulary and sentence structure. This study is in line with visual learning theory which states that the use of visual media can improve students’ memory and engagement. Thus, the use of picture cards as learning media is recommended for English teachers to improve students’ interest and learning outcomes. Further research is expected to explore the use of other media in foreign language learning.

Technological developments have had a major impact on education, especially in increasing the effectiveness of the learning process. Infographics are one of the innovative and technology-based learning media, which combines information with interesting visual elements. This study analyzes various literature to examine the influence of the use of infographics in learning on students' learning interests. The results of the study show that infographics can increase students' interest in learning by presenting information visually, making it easier to understand, and making the material more interesting. Infographics also help students remember information, increase engagement, and support independent learning. In addition, infographics are easily accessible and shared digitally, making it easier for students to repeat the material. Research shows that students are more focused and motivated when using visual media compared to conventional lecture methods. Therefore, the use of infographics as a medium of learning can be used as an effective strategy for overcoming various obstacles in learning activities and resulting in an improvement in the quality of education. Educators are advised to utilize infographics in their learning strategies to achieve more optimal results. In conclusion, infographics are an effective tool to make learning more interactive and interesting and to increase students' interest in learning.

The development of information technology today has reached all aspects of people's lives. Currently, the form of information technology application that is in great demand by the public is a smartphone. Technology has an important role in everyday life and uses it in various aspects of life, for example today many are using technology in learning to find information about work with smartphones. Social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin in general still apply conventional learning methods in the process of teaching and learning activities. Conventional methods and media provided by teachers in learning can be seen when teachers only use whiteboards as learning media and lecture methods or simple discussions in teaching and learning activities. This study used qualitative research methods. This method is used to understand and describe phenomena that occur in the field, namely at SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin. in this way can explain in depth what happened in the field by using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The reason teachers are unable to develop instructional media, especially using smartphones, is because of their limited ability in the field of computer technology and assume that developing instructional media is a time-consuming and complicated activity. There are various uses of smartphones by social studies teachers such as smartphones as a tool for finding learning media, smartphones as a tool for accessing online learning media, and smartphones as a tool for developing learning media. So that learning that takes place using technological media is very supportive of learning and is something that is needed in increasing students' learning interest.

This article discusses the practice of field recognition of physical observation at RA Al Fajar. This school is located in a strategic location to support the creation of good teaching and learning activities. RA Al-Fajar is a school that really maintains cleanliness, neatness, and order in carrying out administration in the learning process. There are 6 teachers at RA Al-Fajar, while 11 students are available in one class only. The facilities and infrastructure at this school are very decent and good. The learning and teaching activities are also in accordance with the education units based on the Permendiknas, namely using the learning implementation plan (RPP). This study aims to find out the conditions and circumstances that occur in the field of RA Al-Fajar related to infrastructure and teaching and learning activities. The method in this study is a qualitative research method with observation data collection instruments. The results of this study RA Al-Fajar is a school with very good infrastructure and teaching and learning activities. The infrastructure provided is in accordance with the learning needs of children. The curriculum is implemented in accordance with Permendikbud standards. As well as teaching and learning activities are also in accordance with the standards of the learning process

The COVID-19 has forced the different level of institutes including universities, high schools, and primary schools around world to carry out online learning and teaching activities, especially in China, nearly all teaching activities having been carried through online platforms. Although there are many benefits of teaching online such as reducing travel costs and saving time and learning space during COVID-19 era, there are still difficulties and challenges faced by both teachers and students, especially for the primary school teachers and students. The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences and factors affecting the online teaching and learning of Chinese primary school teachers and students, thus provide coping strategies for both stakeholders when conducting online teaching and learning activities. The mixed quantitative and qualitative research method will be adopted to study their responses to the online learning and teaching experiences in post-epidemic era. Data will be collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews with 1300 primary school students and 80 teachers in Xi’an Foreign Language Primary school. Data collection will be carried out using survey questionnaire and interview questions and analyzed based on descriptive statistics quantitatively and thematic analysis qualitatively. The researcher wants to find difficulties which may pose challenges to their normal online learning and teaching activities during this special occasion, then put related strategies for both stakeholders as well as policy makers for future reference. The findings can be used as a reference in other research or in a comparable scenario by interested scholars. Educators can use these findings to advocate strategies that will provide a better education.

The purpose of this study is to facilitate teaching and learning activities, so that it can improve students' understanding of the mathematics material presented by the teacher and can be used as a medium to increase interest and interest in the learning process. Learning media plays an important role in teaching and learning activities so that the teaching and learning process becomes effective and easy to apply, but in reality in the world of education learning media is often not paid attention to because of limited time to make teaching preparation and it is difficult to find the right media. One of the learning methods used to overcome these problems is to create interactive learning media in mathematics subjects. This learning media starts with a needs analysis process that will be used in making flash-based interactive learning media and making concepts or designs according to the results of the analysis. The results to be achieved in making interactive learning media on mathematics subjects are that students can understand the material and increase student interest in learning, so that the teaching and learning process becomes more effective.

Natural Science (IPA) is an important learning in elementary schools. IPA is knowledge related to natural phenomena, not only a collection of facts and concepts, but also about how to work, how to think, and how to solve problems. Natural science is also interpreted as knowledge about nature obtained based on human experience due to interaction with its environment. Problems that often arise in learning the content of IPA material include the lack of availability of learning media, teaching and learning activities using more lecture methods, students' attention is less focused on the provision of material by the teacher. To realize meaningful IPA learning, learning media are needed. Learning media are all tools that can be used to achieve educational goals. Learning media have a very important function in learning activities, both for teachers and students. Learning media will make learning more interesting, can provide meaningful learning experiences, activate and please children and the existence of learning media will provide motivation in the learning process. Examples of learning media that can be applied to science learning are learning media that utilize used goods. Learning media from used goods is an interesting and creative alternative to make the teaching and learning process more effective and enjoyable. by using items available in the surrounding environment, especially used goods such as cardboard, bottled drinking water, paper, straws, etc. In addition, the use of used goods can also help foster a sense of love for the environment in children. Learning media from used goods can make the teaching and learning process more interesting and enjoyable, so that it can increase children's interest in learning. Utilizing used goods to make learning media can help develop children's creativity. Playing with learning media from used goods can help train children's motor skills. Utilizing used goods to make learning media can help foster a sense of love for the environment in children. Therefore, we students who are doing KKN 2024 in Anjatan Utara Village, Anjatan District took the initiative to apply learning media from used goods to increase students' creativity and awareness of the environment.

The success of teaching and learning activities is determined by one of the methods and media of learning. This study aims to determine the needs of learning media, develop learning media based on computer games, and determine the effectiveness of learning media based on computer games on students' motivation and interest in learning. This type of research is Research and Development (RD), referring to the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is done by analyzing the questionnaire. The results showed that students needed new learning media with the criteria of using computer technology, game-based, having a colorful display, involving an active role in student participation, easy to operate, equipped with characters, login, and voice access rights. A computer game-based learning media application has been developed called "BEBEB" with a very proper assessment from Media Experts and Material Experts. The effectiveness of the "BEBEB" application as a learning media based on computer games increased learning motivation by 16.5% and interest in learning by 24.33%. The study results indicate that the development of computer-based learning media as a strategy to increase students' motivation and interest in learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Andong Boyolali has been able to be implemented properly. This implies that teachers need to provide learning media that can arouse students' motivation and interest in learning, one of which is using computer game-based learning media.

The beginning of 2020 is a time when the world undergoes enormous changes . Enactment deployment virus Covid 19 as a pandemic by the WHO (World Health Organization) makes almost all sectors of life required to adapt to activities without meeting face to face. No exception in the sectors of education, teaching and learning activities are also activities due to this pandemic situation. The changes felt by the training staff and students are great, especially in terms of literacy. Children's literacy interest in Indonesia is still very low, this is certainly a concern that must be considered given the importance of literacy. During the pandemic, which relies on technology, it must also be used as a way to improve student literacy in Indonesia. The use of learning media provided online can certainly be used as an effort to increase student literacy interest . This research is motivated by the low interest in student literacy and distance learning. Therefore, researchers are looking for efforts through the use of learning media to increase student literacy interest, namely by using infographics. The purpose of this study was to determine how far the level of students' literacy understanding after using infographics as a medium for delivering subject matter. This research is descriptive qualitative, with a phenomenological approach as well as conducting observations and interviews. The research was conducted on students of SMPN 2 Margahayu, Bandung Regency. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness given in the use of infographics as learning media to increase student literacy interest.

This study discusses effective and innovative learning media to improve students' interest and learning outcomes. Interest in learning is the desire to do something because of interest and pleasure in doing it, including in terms of learning. Learning also requires learning media to help the teaching and learning activities take place. Learning media is a tool that can be used to help the learning process to be effective and innovative. Wordwall is a network-based digital gamification application that is useful as a learning resource, learning media, and a fun assessment tool for students. With the aim of knowing the implementation of the use of wordwall learning media in Arabic language learning, knowing how students learn Arabic with carrot learning media, knowing whether there is an increase in the use of learning media in the Arabic language learning process and knowing the learning outcomes of students using wordwall learning media. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that wordwall learning media can provide benefits and good things such as increasing students' enthusiasm and motivation in learning in learning activities. In using this learning media, preparation is needed in making RPP learning media, designing interesting and appropriate types of game content and adjusting the level of difficulty. However, the obstacles in using this motorcycle learning media are the limited ability of educators to use the Word application, the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the length of time needed to prepare the material.

The research method used is descriptive qualitative media, where this method is to determine the extent of student knowledge in implementing a learning media on teaching skills, for the presence of researchers in this study is as an observer who designs learning activities or actions taken together with the team. The research model is a member of the research team, namely the lecturer of Islamic Religious Education. The research was carried out at the State University of Jakarta during the even semester lectures for the 2020/2021 academic year from March to July 2021. The subjects of this research were students in the PAI study program. The focus of this research is to find out the implementation of the usefulness of learning media during the covid-19 pandemic in teaching skills.

The learning process is a teaching-learning process carried out by students and teachers in educational units. It takes a determination from various parties to achieve togetherness and the same vision in creating integrated integration in learning objectives. The Process of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) at Advent Manokwari Junior High School teachers only use printed books and do not utilize learning media, so the learning process becomes boring and makes students bored and learning is also less interesting. The purpose of this research is to design and develop E-Learning Learning Media in English Subjects for Class VII Students in order to facilitate teachers and students in learning and teaching activities at Manokwari Adventist Middle School. The design is done by making Learning Media that makes it easy for teacher teaching in the classroom. The design of this process includes Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequance Diagrams and Class Diagrams that can explain the data flow and system characteristics that are processed to produce the desired information. The research results show the success rate of English Learning Media made is in accordance with the design made and also the learning media as a means of learning that is more interesting and interactive because it is more bring students closer to ICT for learning English. and can function as a means of gathering and discussion for students.
