Abstract
ABSTRACT The three-dimensional modelling of iron-free asynchronous machines founded on spatial-temporal Fourier series has been described in a previous paper ; it assumed that the decomposition in Fourier series of the winding was known. Here, this decomposition for three types of windings - helical, hexagonal and with end turns winding - is given and the performance of the corresponding machines are compared.
