Abstract
This study mainly investigated the damage state of the soil around the flexional DCEP pile with different cantilever diameters under horizontal force. Using our innovative small-scale half-section model test method for undisturbed soil, the entire process of soil from loading to failure was observed, and the impact of the plate cantilever diameter on the horizontal bearing capacity of the flexional DCEP pile and the influence of the damage of the soil around the pile under the action of horizontal force were studied. The effects of the failure form of the flexional DCEP pile under the horizontal load and the size of the cantilever diameter of the plate on the horizontal bearing capacity were qualitatively determined. A reliable theoretical basis has been established for the design and popularization of the flexional DCEP pile in actual projects.
