Abstract

Objective To summarize the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine dialectical treatment and cervical health movement intervention for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods 150 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who came to our hospital from January to December, 2018 were randomly divided into a control group (70 cases) and an experimental group (80 cases). The control group received traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture treatment and nursing care for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. On this basis, the experimental group received traditional Chinese medicine dialectical treatment, neck massage, and health exercise training; 6 weeks from then, The cervical shoulder and back pain, NDI, cervical spondylosis nursing knowledge, cervical health exercise training compliance, and curative effect were evaluated. Results Six weeks later, the NDI score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group [(28.4±3.1) vs. (33.2±3.3), P<0.0001]; the pain score of neck, shoulder, and back of the experimental groupwas lower than that of the control group [(3.83±0.62) vs. (4.15±0.57), P=0.0013]; the nursing knowledge score of cervical spondylosis of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group [(86.0±4.7) vs. (72.0±4.5), P<0.0001]; the compliance rate of cervical activity training was 85.00% in the experimental group, and was 61.43% in the control group (P<0.001). The effective rate was 86.25% in the experimental group, and was 68.57% the control group (P=0.0091). Conclusion The combination of TCM dialectical massage and cervical exercise training can alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients with cervical spondylosis, improve their knowledge of cervical spondylosis nursing and insist on the importance of cervical rehabilitation exercise.
