Abstract

Modified solid solutions based on the multiferroic Bi0.5La0.5MnO3 were synthesized by conventional ceramic technology. The modifiers were introduced stoichiometrically in the form of Fe2O3, Co2O3 by the formula Bi0.5La0.5Mn1-xZxO3. The processes of phase formation, structural characteristics, dielectric properties, and microstructure were studied. Anomalies in the dielectric permittivity spectra were found, probably associated with the Maxwell-Wagner polarization. Correlations were established between the macro-properties of the samples and the phase transition phenomena characteristic of them.
