In sitting position at 60◦, 30◦, there were no statistically significant differences among each group (P> 0.05), while at 15◦ position there was a statistically significant difference in absolute error of angles under various tapings (P< 0.01), the absolute error of angles of KT group showed significant difference compared to other groups (P< 0.01). Conclusion(s): Kinesio taping may enhance the capacity of concentric, eccentric contractions of quadriceps and eccentric contractions of hamstring. KT can increase the muscle fibers recruitment capacity of vastus medialis and vastus lateralis and it may also improve the 15◦ knee joint position sense. Implications:Kinesio Taping is a physical therapy which is simple, safe and effective in preventing sports injury, worthy of our exploration and practice.
