Abstract
Tb, Mn and Ni co-doped BiFeO3 (BTFMNO) thin films were deposited on FTO substrates by the chemical solution deposition method. The effects of multi-element co-doping on the structure and multiferroic properties of BFO were investigated. It has been found that there is a structural transformation from rhombohedral (R3c) to triclinic (P1) phase on co-doping Tb, Mn and Ni. BTFMNO thin films exhibit highly enhanced ferroelectric properties compared with BFO thin film with a remanent polarization as high as 141μC/cm2 (after leakage compensation). In addition, the improved ferromagnetic properties of BTFMNO are ascribed to structural transition and multi-element co-doping.
