Abstract

The numerical simulation of liquid hydrostatic bearing by Ansys cfx is carried out and compared with the theoretical formula, the results of the obtained flow field are in agreement with the actual. At the same time, it reveals the effect of load variation on the dynamic characteristics of hydrostatic bearing system under fluctuating load. The result shows: Under the fluctuating load, film thickness, the carrying capacity of different degrees of change. This also provides a basis for the reliability design of hydrostatic support.
