Abstract

This study explored the influence of the job resources of local college music teachers on work engagement, examined the role of self-efficacy as a mediating variable, and used universities in Shanxi Province as experimental subjects. The results suggest that job resources have a positive effect on work engagement, while self-efficacy is mediated between the two. Moreover, self-efficacy has a direct impact on work engagement, which maintains high levels even in the absence of job resources. These findings are of great significance for improving the work engagement of music teachers in colleges and universities and provide theoretical support and practical guidance for improving teaching quality and teachers' career development. By paying attention to and meeting the needs of teachers 'job resources, stimulating teachers' self-efficacy, which can help to promote their work engagement, and then improving the quality of teaching and students' academic achievement, In addition, we can draw some practical suggestions from the results of this study to help college music teachers improve their work efficiency and teaching quality.
