Abstract

In hot-summer and cold-winter zone, intermittent heating is often used in residential buildings. In this paper, we use numerical simulation method to study. When the outdoor temperature is different, we analyze the effect of insulation methods on the energy consumption of intermittent heating room. The results show that the outdoor temperature and the location of thermal insulation layer all have serious impacts on heating energy consumption. When the outdoor temperature is low, the location of thermal insulation layer has great influence on heating energy consumption. When the outdoor temperature is high, the location of thermal insulation layer has almost no influence on heating energy consumption. In general, for intermittent heating room, internal insulation is more conducive to energy conservation.
