Abstract

The problem of the action of an axial tangential load on a thin circular cylindrical shell located in an elastic half-space and uniformly moving along the inner surface of the shell along its generatrix is solved. To describe the motion of an elastic half-space, the dynamic equations of the theory of elasticity in Lame potentials are used, and for a thin shell - the classical equations of the theory of shells. On the basis of the solution obtained, the stress-strain state of the earth's surface is investigated when a shallow pipeline is exposed to an axisymmetric load of the indicated type.
