Abstract

Electro-Chemical Machining (ECM) seems to be a hopeful technique in the production area of automobile manufacturing and other productions. In recent years, the demand for stainless steel (SS) micro products and components has evolved significantly in fields such as biotechnology, electronics, optics, medicine and so on. This stainless-steel material is ideal for hygienic environments because it is easily sterilized and corrosion resistant. The process parameters of ECM for stainless steel material are investigated experimentally in this study. The SS-316 alloy was chosen to influence the electrochemical machining process with different electrodes and to investigate process parameters using SEM analysis. The tool material has been changed to investigate the improved quality of ECM process parameters.
