Abstract

The diffuser used at the pipe size changing is a common part in the Tokamak cooling water system. It is one of the factors affecting the cooling water retention in the drainage and drying process, which will reduce the dryness of the drying system. This paper focuses on the effect of diffuser structure on gas-liquid flow characteristics in drainage drying process. Further, a numerical simulation model is established to analyze the pressure field, velocity field and phase distribution in the diffuser with different expansive angle in detail. According to the research results, the reflux phenomenon in the diffuser increases with the increase of the angle of the diffuser. This work provides a reference for the design and analysis of drying system of fusion reactor in the future.
