Abstract

<para xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> This paper deals with the influence of nonuniform distributions of both current density and spin-torque efficiency on the magnetization dynamics of point-contact devices. Results of micromagnetic calculations show how the inclusion of different spatial profiles could substantially affect both the magnetization dynamics in both time and frequency domain. </para>
