Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyse the influence of design parameters on the fresh and mechanical properties in the manufacture of self-compacting concrete with recycled fine and coarse aggregates. Design parameters such as water-cement ratio, water/paste ratio, total aggregate to cement ratio, fine aggregate to coarse aggregate ratio, water to solid ratio in percentage, superplasticiser content, RCA replacement percentage and RFA replacement percentage are analysed. The design parameters are found to affect the evolution of the fresh and mechanical properties of SCC with recycled aggregates.
