Abstract

A smart city is the dream project of all the countries around the world. The infrastructure of developed countries is excellent to support the smart city establishment. Information, communication, and technology are the components that enable the digital environment. The healthcare system requires a high level of accuracy and precision to ensure a safe background for all people involved in it. Electronically enabled healthcare maintenance in place of manual maintenance makes the system very efficient. Artificial intelligence, the internet of medical things, and blockchain join hands to support the healthcare system to provide a prediction of diseases and an early monitoring system based on criticality. Patient’s electronic records are getting fine-tuned by digital scribes in place of human scribes. The follow-ups, conversations with the doctor, and patient information are stored in a record using the machine learning algorithms and text mining concepts. Internet of things (IoT) in healthcare acts as a bridge between the patience and medical practitioners via wireless communication and computing devices. Incorporating blockchain technology in electronic health records makes the system highly secured and an optimal privacy environment. Personalized and elderly healthcare is a very important area to be considered in populated cites. Patient management on the whole from entering until getting well along with follow-ups are criteria for the best system.
