Abstract
Experimental investigation was done in this work to determine the effects of abrasive water jet (AWJ) machining process variables such abrasive grain size, standoff distance (SOD), abrasive flow rate, hydraulic pressure, material thickness, and fiber orientation on dimensional quality features. The Taguchi L27 orthogonal array is used in the experiment design. The Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM) process parameters and response parameters are correlated using Taguchi's ANOVA and SEM pictures to statistically analyze the experimental outcomes. According to the experimental findings, the two most important variables affecting dimensional accuracy are material thickness and standoff distance.
