Abstract

During his childhood in Algeria, Rachid Boudjedra was faced with two realities : the one historical (the colonial situation) ; the other personal (he was the last child of his bigamous father's first wife). As a writer he mixes History (in general and the colonial situation in particular) with his own personal family history.
