Abstract

Orthodontic treatment can cause adverse effects in patients such as tooth discoloration, which is why timely dental care is required. Thus, the objective of this article is to determine the effectiveness of infiltrating resin as an aesthetic treatment in patients diagnosed with white spot lesions treated at the San Gregorio de Portoviejo University in 2023. The research approach is qualitative, the design of the study is descriptive, the methods that guide the study have been inductive-deductive, historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, observational, and documentary review. The sample represents 2 patients with enamel lesions. The treatment applied was Icon infiltrating resin with better results such as dental remineralization
