Abstract
Nasal obstruction can be a major contributor to sleep disordered breathing in children. Attention to the inferior turbinate is necessary when turbinate hypertrophy occludes the anterior nasal passage. Overlooking the nasal passage will compromise surgical results. Turbinate reduction with the microdebrider is a simple and safe technique to treat the problem.
