Abstract

The Enterobius vermicularis is one of the nematode which is widly spread all over the world, mainly in the cool places unlike other worms where they live in tropical areas. This parasite is available among low- socio – economic status families, orphan homes and mentally care houses, as well as it is spread among children and adolecenses of both sexes ( male and female). This nematode is characterized with bright white color and moves actively through the digestive tract from the stomach to the anus. The aim of the present study is to detect the relationship between the infection of this nematode among students and their Psychological and behavioral status as a result of the negative. Psychology and healthy influences, Which also influences in a negative manner on their performance and study achievements. The practical aspect of this study was conducted by (113) sample (cellophane tape) collected randomly from some families in Basrah s governer from July to December at the year 2005 for both places urban and rural district families included (41) females and (72) males . In order to know the illness and Psychological syptoms for the sample , the researchers has been constructed two Questionaris, one of the illness symptoms included (26) items, the other dealing with Psychological symptomos included (27) items measured, tention and anxiety, habits, pelition, Psychological tired, eating foods and bed disorder. Also the behavioural indicator that refers to infected with this nematoda. The researchers had been applied the two Questionaris on the sample who their ages between early childhood stage to the beginning of the adolecenses stage. The researchers used Fischer formula, and percentage weight formula as a statistically analysis for the data study. The results had shown the relationship and the direct negative influences on the Psychological and behovioural patterens on the children who infected with this nematoda.According to the different percentage in responses on the items of the two Questionaris for this study . The researchers recommended most important for the healthy aspects, more care for the children and their mother s as well as the early Diagnosis for this cases.
