Abstract

I want to consider with you today changes which have occurred within the Florida citrus industry and changes in Florida agriculture which are directly affected by international plant protection practices. Specifically, I want to deal with two insect problems: first, the need for satisfactory plant protection practices to prevent the introduction of exotic pests; and second, the problems which the Florida grower has had in shipping fresh grapefruit in international trade.
