Abstract
The present status of use of CAD packages for control systems in Japanese industries is surveyed based on two questionnaires done in 1983 and 1984. Lists of CAD packages, statistics about applications, and criticisms and expectations of engineers at industrial practice are reported. Some of recent researches are also introduced.
