Abstract

Coal-fired captive power plants have saved energy costs for industrial enterprises, but their carbon emissions are huge. The level of coal-fired captive power plants participating in grid interaction is an important factor in evaluating the low-carbon development of captive power plants. To this end, a set of source-network-load interactive evaluation indicators and evaluation methods for the low-carbon development of coal-fired captive power plants are proposed in this paper. The proposed index and evaluation method provide a scientific quantification of the source-network-load interaction of the low-carbon development of coal-fired captive power plants, which can be more conducive to realizing better participation of these plants in the grid power demand response, and thus promoting thier standardized low-carbon operation and orderly development. It is also conducive to the utilization and consumption of new energy and the peak regulation of the power grid.
