Abstract

The article develops generalizing empirical mathematical models of the parameters of abrasivemachining of parts by submerged jets, which allow, according to the criteria of the least surfaceroughness and the highest productivity, to determine rational processing parameters. It has beenestablished that during processing, the edges of the parts are rounded, burrs, traces of corrosion andvarious inhomogeneities on the treated surfaces are eliminated, a uniform matte surface is formed with aroughness in the range of Ra = 0.8 - 1.25 μm, with hardening hardening (compressive stresses of depth 5– 6 μm), the complexity of processing is significantly reduced.
