Abstract
AbstractImmunoglobulin‐bearing peripheral blood lymphocytes were measured serially in 15 patients with Kawasaki disease. IgG‐bearing lymphocytes and IgMbearing lymphocytes were increased significantly during the acute phase of the disease (p<O.O5). No such increase was observed during the convalescent phase (28th–45th day). Further investigation is needed to reveal the mechanisms of the increase of immunoglobulin‐bearing cells in the peripheral blood of children with Kawasaki disease.
