Abstract
Abstract Two systemic insecticides, Thimet 15G and Di-Syston 15G were applied with a Gandy applicator in the furrow at seeding time on Oct 7’77. A randomized-block was used with individual plots 6.4 m by 21.3 m. Each treatment was replicated 4 times. Foliage disease symptoms were taken when the disease was most severe in late May of 1978. Di-Syston 15G and Thimet 15G treatments both gave significant reductions in foliage disease symptoms and increased grain yields over the untreated check plots.
