Abstract

Radial artery occlusion (RAO) is the most common complication of trans-radial coronary procedures, including coronary angiogram (CA) and percutaneous intervention (PCI). It is under-recognised. RAO is associated with health outcomes including preclusion of future ipsilateral trans-radial angiography and loss of a vascular conduit. We describe incidence and risk factors for early RAO.
