Abstract

The Society of EMC Engineers (India), popularly known as SEMCE(I), established in Bangalore (India) in 1987, celebrated its eventful 25 years of professional services in the field of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in the year 2012. This Silver Jubilee was a celebrative milestone in the journey of SEMCE(I)'s vision and a time to look back and thank every person who had contributed to the growth of the Society. SEMCE(I) promotes awareness among scientists and engineers about hazards of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), needs and means for achieving EMC, and striving for containment of environmental electromagnetic noise pollution. The International Conference on Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility (INCEMIC) is organized by SEMCE(I), once every two years, making it a biennial event.
