Abstract
Nowadays electronic, electrical equipments are more and more intensive, which means that the quantitative analysis of a system has became increasingly complex, and it makes the introduction of systems engineering approach for qualitative analysis to be a trend in the field of electromagnetic compatibility. The main systems engineering approach in the field of electromagnetic compatibility is the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and its various derivative algorithms. It is only applied to electromagnetic compatibility assessment of the EMC basic design, but little reference value for EMC pre-design. For electromagnetic compatibility characteristics of the study, we use the combination of `decision making trial and evaluation laboratory' and `interpretation of the structure model' to analyse the problem of electromagnetic compatibility. A new systems engineering approach applicable to electromagnetic compatibility pre-design, EMCSAM, is proposed. An example is presented to prove the feasibility and efficiency of the new method.
