Abstract

Cancer Detection In article number 2102334, Young-Seok Cho, Rose Du, Sanggyu Yim, and co-workers propose attenuation-based real-time plain X-ray imaging of deep-seated tumors using CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots stably protected in SiO2 nanoparticles. This new imaging modality fundamentally solves the short penetration-depth problem of current fluorescence-based imaging methods. The stability of the perovskite quantum dots is ensured by rapid co-synthesis and double encapsulation with SiO2.
