Abstract

The in vitro-effect of vitamin A acid (VAA) upon DNA synthesis was studied in three different cell types: lymphocytes, epidermal cells grown as primary cultures and subcultured fibroblasts. The incorporation of3H-TdR after exposure of the culture to various concentrations of VAA was determined by liquid scintillation counting.
