Abstract
Agaricus blazei Murill extract appears to have an effect on the changing pattern of splenic lymphocyte subsets, particularly cytotoxic or natural killer cells. A. blazei Murill extract contains potent Th1 cytokine producing constituents. Oral administration of A. blazei Murill extract down-regulates serum IgE levels by enhancing Th1 response.
