Abstract

AbstractA simple non‐scanning microscope for the in situ and real‐time investigation of many kinds of interfaces and ultrathin films is described. Polarization microscopy images the complex index of refraction of the sample, second‐harmonic microscopy images the second‐order optical susceptibility.
