Abstract

The main types of damage to the gear teeth of the turnout reducers are considered, as well as the disadvantages and advantages of the lubricants used in them. Based on the results of laboratory tests, the coefficient of friction of lubricants under boundary friction conditions was determined and an optimal composition adapted to the operating conditions of turnout reducers is proposed.
