Abstract
In this work, the LiMn0.8Fe0.2PO4/nitrogen-doped carbon (LMFP/NC) was fabricated through a facile approach by atmospheric dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma. Applying DBD to dope nitrogen into the carbon allowed fast lithium-ion migration into LiMn0.8Fe0.2PO4. The degree of defect on carbon surface was quantified. LMFP/NC exhibited the initial specific capacity around 124 mAhg−1 at 0.1C. It was demonstrated that DBD could be effectively used in the modification of the lithium-ion battery industry.
