Abstract
This research paper focuses on establishing a relationship between the entrepreneurship training provided to budding entrepreneurs and their management skills. The research suggests that trained entrepreneurs have more management skills to run the enterprise than entrepreneurs without entrepreneurship training. For the present research a select group of entrepreneurs from an entrepreneurship training centre at Tashkent in Uzbekistan are chosen. These participant entrepreneurs themselves own an enterprise or part of a family owned enterprise. All these entrepreneurs are actively involved in the day-to-day enterprise business operations. These entrepreneurs have undergone an “entrepreneurship management training program” recently to enhance their management skills. The impact is measured by taking in to consideration “before and after training program skill level.” Findings show that entrepreneurship training does have a positive impact on entrepreneur's management skills and in turn improve enterprise management. This is very common for enterprises to shape their entrepreneurs by providing entrepreneurship training with all the necessary qualities required to steer the enterprise towards achieving the enterprise objectives, goals and targets. It is therefore concluded that entrepreneurship training enhances the managerial skills of an entrepreneur considerably.
