Abstract

Recent improvements to graduate propulsion education at the Air Force Institute of Technology are described. These improvements and advances include new courses, research, and emphasis on design. Propulsion education is a specialty in either of the more broad aeronautical engineering or astronautical engineering graduate programs. These programs and recent propulsion changes are reviewed, including course content and research initiatives. Improvements to computational and experimental facilities are described relative to their use and application to the propulsion specialty.
